CORPORATE SUPPLY CHAIN DEVELOPMENT - A good ESD programme is designed to “facilitate access to and improvement of” a small business GROWTH and OPPORTUNITIES through the following:

  • Once engaged provide 360 degree capacity building of the SME including Coaching and Mentorship and specialist support of the SME to deliver.

  • Procurement of goods or services by the Corporate business from participating SMEs that provides sustainable revenue streams for the SME and a reliable supply of goods and services to the corporate business.

  • Understanding the client organisation business model and B-BBEE Strategy and how a potential Beneficiary business aligns with it.

  • Identifying and vetting beneficiaries

  • Conduct due diligence on identified Beneficiaries, taking into consideration: Statutory compliance; Business management; Operational management; Financial management; Human resources; and Marketing. Conducting a detailed GAP analysis.

  • Based on the individual needs of organisation and beneficiaries, develop a workable growth strategy including an accelerated timeline and budget.

  • Engage with all parties to outline roles, expectations, responsibility and accountability; and facilitate contracting.

  • Manage, oversee and troubleshoot the implementation of the process. Continual monitoring and reporting on implementation progress
